Going for the Gold

Online Marketing Expert Russell Brunson
Chases Online and Olympic Success

In today's economy, more people than ever seek opportunities to start online businesses. Downsizing, layoffs and global business shifts have created a vast pool of potential entrepreneurs excited by the limitless possibilities of e-commerce.

In the world of online marketing, one name stands out when it comes to teaching people to turn passions into passive income, spare time into spare change, programs and processes into profits: Russell Brunson, the 29-year-old millionaire Internet marketer.

Russell started his online marketing business DotComSecrets.com (http://www.dotcomsecrets.com) in 2004 when he was a student and wrestler at Boise State University. His first product, a DVD explaining how to build a potato gun, launched his fascination with the infinite opportunities of selling online.

After 18 months of trying every program, product and course he could get his hands on, Russell developed his own easy system for creating and selling products online. He paid a programmer $20 to create his first software product. His monthly profits grew from $1,000 to $5,000 within three months.

"I was hooked and started to study marketing and business every moment that I was awake," he says. "My senior year in college I earned about $250,000 and within a year of graduation had crossed the million dollar mark."

His company now employs more than 60 people and made more than $10 million in sales in 2009.

Famous for teaching beginners to turn hobbies into online income, Russell is now helping small business owners of all kinds to increase online sales and profits. Chiropractors, dentists, hair stylists and restaurant owners are among those learning to boost their sales online through DotComSecrets.com products. They include:

Micro-Continuity, a six-month video coaching program that shows people how to start an online business in as little as 24 to 48 hours. It comes with a free MP3 player ($9.97 for shipping and handling) and a free 14-day trial, and costs $97 per month.
Personal coaching to ensure the customer's online business is running at maximum efficiency. Service costs range from $1,500 to $50,000 annually.
Monthly DVD and newsletter teaching how to get more out of your online business.

Russell's passion for online marketing is matched only by his love of wrestling. He bought a gym and brought top Olympic wrestlers to Boise to train and work for his company. A multi-millionaire before reaching age 30, he is semi-retired and chasing his dream of wrestling in the 2012 Olympics. For 2010, he's even starting clubs in local schools to teach kids the joy of wrestling.

"We are not only about making money for ourselves. We are passionate about seeing others succeed," he says. "Whether you are an Olympic wrestler or a single mother out of a job, our products and services can help you. We have a product that can work for anyone."
